Consulate General
of Italy — Vancouver
The Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver serves Italian citizens across western Canada and assists those wishing to visit, work, study, or live in Italy. Services include visa and passport applications, citizenship requests, civil status certificates, document legalization, and general consular assistance.

Note on pensions: Pension matters are handled by Patronato offices, not the Consulate. Visit the Consulate website for a list of Patronati offices in western Canada.


Consolato Onorario d’Italia a Calgary
The Honorary Consulate provides part‑time, voluntary support to the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver and the Vice‑Consulate in Edmonton. Services include passport applications, legalization of documents for use in Italy, proof‑of‑life certificates, and Red/Est income declarations in collaboration with Patronato INAS Edmonton.
The office cannot assist non‑Italians with visa or citizenship applications, and does not process pension files beyond proof‑of‑life legalization. For all other consular or pension matters, please contact the Vancouver Consulate or Patronato INAS Edmonton. Appointments are available by request only.

Abruzzese Cultural Association of Calgary
A non-profit dedicated to preserving and celebrating the culture and traditions of Abruzzo — a region on Italy's Adriatic coast. Their mission is to pass those traditions on to future generations born and raised in Calgary.

Calgary Crescendo Choir Society
Founded in 1997, the Crescendo Choir is an adult, non-auditioned choir open to everyone — Italian or not, fluent or not. All you need is a love of singing. The choir performs folk, popular, and classical songs in both Italian and English, and rehearses every Tuesday evening from 7–9pm at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre.

Calgary Italian Folk Dance Society
A youth dance group dedicated to keeping Italian cultural heritage alive through traditional and modern folk dance. Known as Gli Azzurri, they honour the spirit their ancestors brought to Canada through movement, music, and community pride.

Calgary Italian Sportsmen's Dinner Association
This association recognizes student athletes of Italian descent by awarding scholarships for excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership. Their annual dinner has grown into one of western Canada's premier charity events, while also promoting Italian culture in schools and the broader community.

Centro Linguistico e Culturale — Calgary Italian School
For nearly 50 years, the CLCIC has been preserving and promoting the Italian language in Calgary. Offering provincially recognized courses for kindergarten through to adult learners of all levels, the school is a cornerstone of Italian cultural life in the city.

Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church
A place of faith, community, and Italian tradition. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church has been a spiritual home for Calgary's Italian community for generations, offering mass in Italian for those who want to worship in the language of their heritage. Italian mass is held every Wednesday at 11am and every Sunday at 9:30am.

Calgary Calabrese Cultural & Heritage Society
Founded in 1987, the CCCHS celebrates the traditions and people who came to Calgary from the Calabria region of southern Italy. The Society hosts an annual banquet, awards scholarships to first-year post-secondary students of Calabrese descent, and organizes cultural events throughout the year.
