Honorary Consul of Italy in Calgary, Alberta

My office hours are by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
The duties I can carry out are limited somewhat but too long to list. What I can tell you is that I receive many requests regarding applying for or renewing Italian passports. I cannot help with that as all applications for new or renewal passports (unless they are for minors under 12 years of age) require digital fingerprinting and electronic signature and therefore attendance at either the Edmonton or Vancouver office is required.
When applying for a Visa, an interview is required and must be done either in Edmonton or Vancouver.
People who are thinking that they should finally apply for their Italian citizenship will find some useful information here.

The Calgary Italian Choir held its first performance on May 22, 1997. In 2000 the choir was incorporated as the Calgary Crescendo Choral Society. It is an adult non-auditioned and self-funded choir open to men and women, Italian and non-Italian alike. Knowledge of Italian is not essential, but your love to sing is. The choir practices every Tuesday evening 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre (416 1st Avenue N.E.). Our season runs from September through June (excluding Christmas holidays).

Twenty years have passed since a few members of the Italian community gathered at the CICC to discuss the feasibility of starting a choir for their enjoyment and that of the community. In the fall of 1997 the choir became a reality and rehearsals began. Today there are still 30+ members and still going strong.
Next year, 2017, will mark a very important milestone and the Choir members invite the community to celebrate with them. Stay tuned to this site for more details early in the new year.
